Eligibility : Candidates must hold a Postgraduate (PG) Degree in the relevant medical specialty from a recognized institution. DNB/DNB Super Specialty and equivalent PG qualifications recognized under MCI/NMC guidelines are also eligible. If sufficient PG degree holders are not available, candidates with a relevant Diploma may be considered, with their merit position below PG degree holders.

Selection Process
The selection for Sr. Resident/ Tutor Phase-III posts will be Based On Merit List.
Candidates will be shortlisted primarily based on their academic qualifications (PG Degree/DNB/Diploma) in the relevant specialty.
A merit list will be prepared considering the academic performance and other criteria as specified in the official notification.
Shortlisted candidates will then be called for Document Verification (DV) to confirm their eligibility and credentials.
Final selection will be made after successful document verification.

Educational Qualification:
Candidates must possess a Postgraduate (PG) Degree in the relevant medical specialty.
Qualifications such as DNB/DNB Super Specialty and other equivalent PG degrees recognized by the Medical Council of India (MCI) / National Medical Commission (NMC) are also acceptable.
In case of insufficient PG degree holders, candidates with a relevant Diploma may be considered. However, their merit position will be ranked below those with PG degrees.
Reservation Policy:
40% of seats are reserved for doctors belonging to the Bihar State Health Service cadre.
Another 40% of seats are allocated for doctors who have successfully completed their PG studies under the residency scheme in Bihar medical colleges.
The remaining 20% of seats are open for doctors holding PG degrees from recognized institutions located outside Bihar.
Documents Required for Document Verification (DV)
Original and self-attested copies of all educational qualification certificates (Matriculation, Intermediate, UG, PG Degree/DNB/Diploma).
Marksheets of all academic examinations.
Medical Registration Certificate (MCI/NMC/State Medical Council).
Proof of Age (Matriculation Certificate/Birth Certificate).
Caste Certificate (if applicable, for SC/ST/BC/EBC candidates) issued by competent authority.
