BSF Head Constable RO / RM Recruitment 2025 : Mode Of Selection
  • Stage I: Physical Efficiency Test (PET) & Physical Standard Test (PST): This is a qualifying stage where candidates’ physical measurements (height, chest) and endurance abilities (race, long jump, high jump) are assessed as per the prescribed standards for male and female candidates. Only candidates who successfully clear this stage will be eligible for the next.
  • Stage II: Computer Based Test (CBT) / Written Exam: Candidates who qualify the PET/PST will be called for a Computer Based Test. This examination will assess their knowledge in subjects relevant to the posts, typically including Physics, Mathematics, Chemistry, English, and General Knowledge. The marks obtained in the CBT will form the basis for shortlisting candidates for further stages.
  • Stage III: Document Verification: Candidates shortlisted based on their CBT performance will undergo document verification.
