Selection Process for Bihar Police Driver Post

• Stage 1 — Preliminary Written Examination: This is the first screening test comprising General Knowledge, General Hindi, Mathematics, and Reasoning. It is an objective-type test. Only candidates who score above the minimum qualifying marks proceed to the next stage.
• Stage 2 — Mains Written Examination: Candidates who clear the Preliminary exam appear for the Mains exam, which tests deeper knowledge of subjects including General Awareness, General Science, Mathematics, Mental Ability, and Hindi Language. Marks obtained here are used for merit list preparation.
• Stage 3 — Physical Efficiency Test (PET): Candidates who qualify the Mains exam are called for PET. This test evaluates the physical fitness of candidates and includes activities such as running (typically 1.6 km or 5 km within a stipulated time), long jump, and high jump.
