Selection Process
Stage 1: English Typing Test: This is typically a qualifying stage to assess typing speed and accuracy. Candidates need to achieve the specified WPM (Words Per Minute) with minimal errors.
Stage 2: English Shorthand Test: This test evaluates the candidate’s proficiency in shorthand writing at the prescribed speed, followed by transcription. Accuracy in both shorthand and transcription is crucial.
Stage 3: Main (Descriptive) Examination: Candidates qualifying the skill tests will proceed to a descriptive written examination. This paper generally assesses general knowledge, English comprehension, writing skills, and possibly basic legal aptitude relevant to the judicial system.
Stage 4: Personal Interview: Shortlisted candidates will face a personal interview to evaluate their personality, communication skills, general awareness, and suitability for the role.
Stage 5: Document Verification: Candidates provisionally selected after the interview will undergo document verification. It is essential to carry all original educational certificates, experience certificates, age proof, caste certificates (if applicable), and identity proof as per the official notification.
Stage 6: Medical Examination: A medical fitness test may be conducted as per the High Court’s norms to ensure candidates are medically fit for the service.

Additionally, proficiency in English Shorthand at 110 WPM (Words Per Minute) and English Typing at 40 WPM is mandatory. Basic Computer Knowledge, including familiarity with MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and internet operations, is also required.
Personal Assistant (PA)
Total Posts: 33
Eligibility: Candidates must possess a Graduation degree from a recognized University in any discipline. Proficiency in English Shorthand at 100 WPM (Words Per Minute) and English Typing at 40 WPM is essential. Candidates must also demonstrate basic Computer Knowledge, covering aspects like data entry, file management, and email.
