Vacancy Details

Age Limit

• Upper age limit is 29 years for Unreserved candidates, counted on the closing date, 06/12/2026. The same date is the cut-off for age, qualification and category.
• Age relaxation: OBC (NCL) — 3 years; SC / ST — 5 years; PwBD — 10 years (General / UR), 13 years (OBC), 15 years (SC / ST); J&K domicile (01/01/1980 to 31/12/1989) — 5 years; Ex-Servicemen and riot victims — as per Government of India guidelines; DVC departmental candidates — no upper age limit.

Eligibility Criteria

• Education: Full-time Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or Technology in the relevant discipline from an AICTE or appropriate statutory authority approved Indian university / institution, with at least 65% marks in aggregate for General / OBC (NCL) / EWS candidates and 60% marks for SC / ST / PwD candidates.
• GATE: Candidates must have appeared in and qualified in the matching GATE 2025 paper (ME for Mechanical, EE for Electrical, CE for Civil, IN for C&I, MN for Mining). Only GATE 2025 marks out of 100 are valid; GATE 2024 or earlier scores are not accepted.
• Final-semester candidates whose results are awaited may apply, but must produce the final mark sheet and degree certificate at Document Verification.
• A candidate can apply for one discipline only.

Selection Process

• Shortlisting on GATE 2025 marks (out of 100) in the corresponding paper, at a ratio of 1:5 or more to the category-wise vacancies per discipline. All tied candidates are called.
• Document Verification — date, time and venue are published on the DVC website only; no hard-copy call letters are sent.
• Pre-Employment Medical Examination by the DVC Medical Board.
• A service bond applies: ₹ 5,00,000 for General / OBC (NCL) / EWS and ₹ 2,50,000 for SC / ST / PwBD, covering one year of probation plus at least three years of service.

2. Open the link for ‘Executive Trainee Recruitment 2026 (Advt. No. PLR/ET/04/2026/05)’ and read the detailed advertisement.
3. Fill in the online application form and upload your recent photograph, signature and documents (Class X / XII certificate, qualification certificate and GATE 2025 scorecard, each up to 2 MB).
4. Preview the form, submit it and pay the fee online, if applicable.
5. Submit the form before 11:59 PM on 06/12/2026, note the Unique Application Number and keep a printout.
