The Join Indian Navy (Nausena Bharti) has released a recruitment notification for the 10+2 (B.Tech) Cadet Entry Scheme for January 2027. This recruitment drive aims to fill 60 positions. JEE (Main) Requirement: All applicants must have appeared for the JEE (Main) 2026 examination and possess a valid All India Common Rank List (CRL) rank. This rank will be a primary criterion for shortlisting.
Selection Process
Shortlisting based on JEE (Main) 2026 CRL Rank: Candidates will be initially shortlisted solely based on their All India Common Rank List (CRL) in JEE (Main) 2026. The Indian Navy will determine a cut-off mark, and only candidates above this cut-off will be called for the SSB interview.
SSB Interview: Shortlisted candidates will undergo a rigorous five-day Service Selection Board (SSB) interview process at designated centres. This comprises two stages:
Stage I: Consists of Intelligence Test, Picture Perception and Discussion Test (PPDT). Candidates failing to clear Stage I will be sent back on the same day.
Stage II: Includes Psychological Tests, Group Testing Officer (GTO) Tasks, Interview, and Conference. This stage assesses personality, leadership, and group dynamics.
Medical Examination: Candidates who successfully qualify the SSB interview will undergo a comprehensive medical examination by a military medical board. This ensures that candidates meet the prescribed physical and medical standards of the Indian Navy.
