Selection Process

  • Written Examination: Candidates will first undergo a written examination. This will be an objective-type test designed to assess technical knowledge and aptitude relevant to the applied post.   • Skill Test / Driving Test (Post-Wise): Shortlisted candidates from the written examination will be called for a skill test or a driving test, depending on the nature of the post.
    • For Technician ‘B’ posts, a practical skill test related to the specific trade will be conducted.
    • For Driver posts (Light Vehicle Driver ‘A’, Heavy Vehicle Driver ‘A’, Staff Car Driver-A), a practical driving test will be conducted to assess driving proficiency, knowledge of traffic rules, and vehicle maintenance.
    • Document Verification: Candidates who qualify in the written exam and skill/driving test will be required to appear for document verification. All original certificates and testimonials related to age, educational qualification, experience, caste (if applicable), etc., will be scrutinized. Any discrepancy will lead to disqualification.

Eligibility Criteria:

  • Technician ‘B’ (for trades: Electronics Mechanic, Electrician, Refrigeration & Air Conditioning, Machinist, Fitter, Turner, Motor Vehicle Mechanic, Electroplater): Candidates must have passed Class 10th (SSLC/SSC) and possess an ITI / NTC / NAC Certificate in the respective relevant trade from a recognized Industrial Training Institute (ITI).
  • Light Vehicle Driver ‘A’: Candidates must have passed Class 10th (SSLC/SSC) from a recognized board and hold a valid Light Motor Vehicle (LMV) Driving License. A minimum of 3 years of driving experience as a Light Vehicle Driver is mandatory.
  • Heavy Vehicle Driver ‘A’: Candidates must have passed Class 10th (SSLC/SSC) from a recognized board and hold a valid Heavy Vehicle Driving License (HVD). A minimum of 5 years of driving experience is required, out of which at least 3 years must be as a Heavy Vehicle Driver.
  • Staff Car Driver-A: Candidates must have passed Class 10th (SSLC/SSC) from a recognized board and hold a valid Light Motor Vehicle (LMV) Driving License. A minimum of 3 years of driving experience is mandatory.
