Age Limit & Eligibility Criteria

  • Age Limit: As per National Board Of Examinations In Medical Sciences (NBEMS) Rules. Generally, there is no upper age limit for NEET PG, however, candidates are advised to refer to the official information bulletin for any specific age-related clauses or relaxations.
  • Eligibility: Candidates must possess an MBBS Degree from a university or institute recognized by the Medical Council of India (MCI) or National Medical Commission (NMC) and must have completed or be completing their 12-month compulsory rotating internship by the prescribed cut-off date mentioned in the official notification. Candidates must also possess a permanent or provisional registration certificate issued by MCI/NMC or State Medical Council (SMC).

Selection Process

  • The selection for admission to MD/MS/PG Diploma courses through NEET PG 2026 is primarily based on an Entrance Test.
  • Stage 1: Entrance Examination (NEET PG) – Candidates must appear for the NEET PG examination and secure a minimum qualifying percentile.
  • Stage 2: Merit List & Counseling – Based on the scores obtained in NEET PG, a merit list will be prepared. Qualified candidates will then be eligible to participate in the All India Quota (AIQ) counseling conducted by the Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) or State Quota counseling conducted by respective State Counseling Authorities for seat allocation.

  • Step 1: Registration: Visit the official NBEMS website or use the direct ‘Apply Online’ link provided below. Register by providing basic details such as name, mobile number, and email ID.
  • Step 2: Fill Application Form: Log in with your generated credentials and fill in the detailed application form, including personal, academic, and contact information.
  • Step 3: Upload Documents: Upload scanned copies of required documents such as recent passport-size photograph, signature, left thumb impression, MBBS Degree Certificate, Internship Completion Certificate, and MCI/NMC/SMC Provisional/Permanent Registration Certificate as per specifications.
  • Step 4: Pay Application Fee: Pay the application fee online using Debit Card, Credit Card, Internet Banking, or other available options.
  • Step 5: Review and Submit: Review all entered details carefully before final submission. After submission, take a printout of the final application form for future reference.
