The Railway Recruitment Boards (RRB) have released Centralised Employment Notification (CEN) No. 09/2026 for 191 posts of Isolated Categories, including Junior Translator (Hindi), Chief Law Assistant, Public Prosecutor and Lab Assistant. Online applications opened on 5 November 2026 and the last date to apply is 4 December 2026. Candidates should read the official notification before applying.

For SC / ST / Ex-Servicemen / PwBD / Female / Transgender / Minorities / EBC : ₹ 250/-
₹ 400/- of the ₹ 500/- fee and the full ₹ 250/- fee are refunded (after bank charges) to candidates who appear in the CBT. Modification fee is ₹ 250/- per occasion.

Age relaxation is applicable for SC / ST / OBC-NCL / PwBD / Ex-Servicemen and other categories as per Government of India rules and the official CEN.
Eligibility Criteria
Educational qualification differs by post and is given in Annexure-A of the official CEN No. 09/2026.
Chief Law Assistant / Public Prosecutor: Degree in Law from a recognised university.
Junior Translator (Hindi): Master's degree in Hindi or English with the other language as a subject, as per Annexure-IX of the CEN.
Scientific Assistant (Training) / Lab Assistant Gr. III: Bachelor's degree in Science in the relevant discipline.
Senior Publicity Inspector / Staff and Welfare Inspector: Bachelor's degree from a recognised university (see Annexure-A for post-wise details).
Candidates must hold the prescribed qualification on or before the closing date, 04/12/2026.
Selection Process
Computer Based Test (CBT) — single stage.
Translation Test — for Junior Translator (Hindi) only, where applicable.
Document Verification and Medical Examination.
Shortlisting for document verification is done RRB-wise at 1:1 of the vacancies on CBT merit.

Create an account (or log in with your existing RRB account from an earlier CEN) and verify your identity with Aadhaar / DigiLocker.
Select one RRB only and fill in your post and zone preferences carefully.
Upload your photograph, signature and documents, pay the fee online and submit the form before 04/12/2026.
Keep a printout of the submitted application for future reference.
