Educational Qualification:
Candidates must hold a Bachelor’s Degree in any stream (Arts, Science, Commerce, etc.) from a University recognized by the UGC.
A minimum of 50% aggregate marks is required in the Bachelor’s Degree for General and OBC candidates.
For SC/ST candidates, a minimum of 45% aggregate marks is required in the Bachelor’s Degree.

Selection Process

UP DELEd Admission 2026 : Mode Of Selection
The selection of candidates for the UP DELEd course will be based on a Merit List.
This merit list will be prepared purely on the basis of academic marks obtained by the candidates in their 10th Standard (High School), 12th Standard (Intermediate), and Graduation (Bachelor’s Degree) examinations.
There will be no separate entrance examination for UP DELEd admission.
Following the declaration of the merit list and rank card, eligible candidates will be invited for the Counselling Process.
During counselling, candidates will undergo Document Verification where all original educational certificates, caste certificates, domicile, etc., will be checked against the submitted application details.
Candidates will also be required to fill their college preferences during the counselling rounds. Final admission will depend on merit rank and availability of seats in their preferred colleges.
