Vacancy Details

Age Limit

• Minimum age 21 years and maximum age 62 years as on 01/07/2026.
• Age relaxation is applicable as per the UPESSC TGT Examination Rules and Advertisement No. 07/2026.

Eligibility Criteria

• Education: Bachelor's / Master's degree in the relevant subject with at least 50% marks.
• B.Ed: B.Ed examination passed.
• TET: Class 6–8 (Upper Primary Level) TET certificate, to be held by 30 June 2027.
• Subject-wise eligibility details are given in the official notification — read it before applying.
• One Time Registration (OTR) on the commission's portal is mandatory before applying.

Selection Process

• Written examination on 23 and 24 December 2026.
• Document verification for candidates shortlisted in the written examination.

How to Apply

1. Visit the official UPESSC website at upessc.up.gov.in and complete One Time Registration (OTR).
2. Log in and select Advertisement No. 07/2026 (TGT).
3. Fill in the application form exactly as per your Class 10 certificate and upload your photograph and signature.
4. Pay the application fee online and submit the form before 23/11/2026.
5. Download and print the final confirmation page. Corrections can be made till 26/11/2026.
