• DV Process: No separate fee is typically required for the Document Verification process. Candidates must report at the scheduled date and time with all original documents and their self-attested photocopies as per the official notification.

Age Limit & Eligibility Criteria (As On 01 August 2025)

• Minimum Age : 21 Years
• Maximum Age for Male (Unreserved) : 37 Years
• Maximum Age for Female (Unreserved), BC/EBC (Male & Female) : 40 Years
• Maximum Age for SC/ST (Male & Female) : 42 Years
• Age relaxation will be provided as per Bihar BPSC regulations for eligible categories.
• Eligibility Criteria: Candidates must possess a recognized degree in Engineering, Technology, or Medicine (Regular MBBS only), or an equivalent qualification notified by the State Government. Additionally, candidates must have the required practical experience as prescribed in the official notification and demonstrate the ability to read and write Hindi in the Devanagari script.

• Step 1 : Visit the official Bihar Public Service Commission (BPSC) website.
• Step 2 : Navigate to the “Notices / Latest Updates” or “Interview / Document Verification” section on the homepage.
• Step 3 : Look for and click on the link titled “Factory Inspector Document Verification (DV) Schedule 2026” (Advt. No. 03/2026).
• Step 4 : The DV Schedule PDF document will open on your screen.
• Step 5 : Carefully check your Roll Number, Reporting Date, Reporting Time, and the designated Venue for your Document Verification.
• Step 6 : Download the DV Schedule PDF and save it to your device for future reference.
• Step 7 : Take a clear printout of the DV Schedule, as it is mandatory to carry it to the verification venue.
• Step 8 : Begin arranging all the required original documents along with their self-attested photocopies as per the instructions in the official notification.
• Step 9 : Reach the Document Verification venue on your scheduled date and time with all necessary documents. Follow all instructions mentioned in the official DV notice.

Documents Required for Document Verification (DV)

• Original DV Call Letter / Interview Call Letter: The official letter inviting you for Document Verification.
• Matriculation (10th) Certificate & Marksheet: For Date of Birth proof and educational qualification.
• Intermediate (12th) Certificate & Marksheet: For educational qualification.
• Engineering/Technology/Medicine Degree Certificate & Marksheets: Proof of your essential educational qualification.
• Experience Certificate(s): As per the practical experience prescribed in the official notification.
• Photo Identity Proof: Original Aadhaar Card, PAN Card, Voter ID, Driving License, or Passport.
• Caste Certificate: (SC/ST/EBC/BC) issued by competent authority, if claiming reservation. (Must be from Bihar State for reservation benefits).
• EWS Certificate: (Economically Weaker Section) issued by competent authority, if applicable.
• Disability Certificate: (PWD) issued by competent authority, if applicable.
• No Objection Certificate (NOC): If currently employed in Government/Semi-Government organizations.
• Recent Passport Size Photographs: Typically 4-6 copies, same as uploaded in application form.
• Prapatra-I: Duly filled and signed (Download link provided in Important Links section).
• Any other document mentioned specifically in the official DV call letter or notification.
• All original documents must be accompanied by two sets of self-attested photocopies.

Selection Process for Bihar BPSC Factory Inspector

• Written Examination: (If conducted) Candidates typically undergo a written test as the initial screening stage. Details for the written exam were to be notified later.
• Interview: Shortlisted candidates from the preceding stages (if any) are called for an interview, which assesses their general knowledge, aptitude, and suitability for the post.
• Document Verification (DV): Candidates who qualify the interview stage are provisionally selected and called for document verification. This crucial stage involves checking the authenticity of all educational, experience, caste, age, and other supporting documents submitted during the application process. Discrepancies can lead to disqualification.
• Merit List: A final merit list is prepared based on the candidates’ performance in the interview (and written exam, if applicable) and successful completion of document verification. Appointment letters are issued based on this merit list and availability of vacancies.
