ASI (Pharmacist): Candidates must have passed 12th Class and possess a Diploma or Degree in Pharmacy from a recognized institution. They must also be a Registered Pharmacist under the Pharmacy Act, 1948.
ASI (X-Ray Technician): Candidates must have passed 10+2 from a recognized Board/University and possess a 2-year Diploma in Radiography from a recognized institution.
ASI (Lab Technician): Candidates must have passed 10+2 with Science from a recognized Board/University and possess a 2-year Diploma in Medical Laboratory Technology (DMLT) from a recognized institution.
Selection Process
Physical Standard Test (PST): Candidates will undergo measurements for height, chest, and weight according to prescribed standards. Those who fail to meet these physical standards will be eliminated from the recruitment process at this stage.
Written Examination: An objective type written examination will be conducted. The syllabus typically covers subjects such as General Intelligence & Reasoning, General Knowledge, General English/Hindi, and Arithmetical Ability, with specific questions related to the respective paramedical discipline.
Basic Vocational Aptitude Test (Skill Test): This is a practical test designed to assess the candidate’s professional skills relevant to their applied post. For example, a Pharmacist may be tested on dispensing, an X-Ray Technician on operating equipment, and a Lab Technician on performing diagnostic tests.
Document Verification (DV): Shortlisted candidates will be called for document verification. All original educational certificates, caste certificates (if applicable), age proof, domicile certificate, and other relevant documents will be thoroughly checked against the information provided in the application form. Any discrepancy may lead to disqualification.
Medical Examination (ME): Finally, candidates will undergo a detailed medical examination by a CISF Medical Board to ensure they meet the stringent physical and medical fitness standards required for service in the Central Industrial Security Force.
