Age Limit & Eligibility Criteria

• Age Limit (As On 25 June 2025):
• Minimum Age : 18 Years.
• Maximum Age : 22 Years.
• Age Relaxation as per Indian Coast Guard Recruitment Rules for reserved categories.
• Total Posts: 630
• Navik (General Duty) GD: Candidates must have passed Class 12th (Intermediate) examination with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects from an Education Board recognized by the Council of Boards for School Education (COBSE).
• Navik (Domestic Branch) DB: Candidates must have passed Class 10th (Matriculation) examination from an Education Board recognized by the Council of Boards for School Education (COBSE).
• Yantrik: Candidates must have passed Class 10th (Matriculation) from a COBSE-recognized board AND completed a 3 or 4-year Diploma in Electrical, Mechanical, Electronics, or Telecommunication (Radio/Power) Engineering approved by AICTE.

Mode of Selection & How to Download Stage-III Admit Card

• Mode Of Selection: The Indian Coast Guard Navik & Yantrik recruitment process involves multiple stages:
• Stage I: Computer Based Examination (CBE): An objective type written test covering various subjects specific to the post applied for.
• Stage II: Physical Fitness Test (PFT) & Assessment/Adaptability Test: Candidates who qualify Stage I proceed to Stage II, which includes PFT (running, squats, push-ups) and an Assessment/Adaptability Test.
• Stage III: Document Verification (DV), Physical Fitness Test (PFT) & Medical Examination: This stage is critical and conducted at INS Chilka. It involves thorough verification of all original documents, a re-assessment of physical fitness, and a comprehensive medical examination as per ICG standards.
• Stage IV: Final Medical Examination & Induction: This is the final stage, including another medical examination at INS Chilka, followed by the final merit list and induction into the Indian Coast Guard.
• How To Download Coast Guard Navik CGEPT 02/2026 Batch Stage-III Admit Card:
1. Step 1 : Visit the official website of the Indian Coast Guard — joinindiancoastguard.cdac.in.
2. Step 2 : On the homepage, navigate to the “Candidate Login” or “CGEPT” section.
3. Step 3 : Enter your registered Email ID, Password, and the Captcha Code displayed on the screen.
4. Step 4 : Click on the “Login” or “Submit” button to access your candidate dashboard.
5. Step 5 : Look for the link titled “Stage-III Admit Card” or similar and click on it.
6. Step 6 : Your Stage-III Admit Card will be displayed on the screen. Download it and take at least 2-3 printouts for future reference and exam day.

Stage-III Exam Details & What to Carry

• Exam Name: Coast Guard Navik (General Duty / Domestic Branch) & Yantrik CGEPT 02/2026 Batch Stage-III
• Conducting Body: Join Indian Coast Guard
• Stage-III Dates: As per individual admit card.
• Exam Centre: Primarily INS Chilka for Document Verification, PFT, and Medical Examination.
• Login Credentials: Candidates must use their registered Email ID and Password to download the admit card.

• What to Carry to Stage-III: It is crucial to carry all necessary documents and items for Stage-III.
• Printed Stage-III Admit Card: Multiple copies are advisable.
• Valid Photo Identity Proof: Original (Aadhar Card, PAN Card, Voter ID, Passport, Driving License).
• Passport Size Photographs: Several recent photographs (as specified in the admit card/notification).
• All Original Educational Certificates: Class 10th, 12th Marksheets and Certificates, Diploma Certificates (for Yantrik).
• Caste/Category Certificates: (OBC/EWS/SC/ST) as per Government of India format, if applicable.
• Domicile Certificate: As required.
• No Objection Certificate (NOC): If employed in government service.
• Any other documents specified in the official notification or admit card.
• Pen/Pencil: For any required paperwork.
• Water Bottle: (Transparent, sealed) for personal hydration during physical tests.
