Age Relaxation : Age relaxation is applicable for SC/ST/OBC/PwBD/Ex-Servicemen candidates as per Government of India rules and ISRO regulations. Detailed information can be found in the official notification.
Educational Qualification : Candidates must hold a BE/B.Tech or equivalent degree in the respective engineering discipline with an aggregate minimum of 65% marks (average of all semesters) or CGPA 6.84 on a 10-point scale from a recognized university. Selection Process
Stage 1: Initial Shortlisting: Candidates will be initially shortlisted based on their academic performance (BE/B.Tech marks) and other criteria as specified in the official notification. Meeting the minimum percentage criteria is essential for shortlisting.
Stage 2: Written Test: Shortlisted candidates will be called for a written examination. This test assesses technical knowledge in the relevant engineering discipline and general aptitude. The date and venue will be notified later.
Stage 3: Interview: Candidates who qualify the written test will be invited for an interview. The interview aims to evaluate the candidate’s communication skills, problem-solving ability, technical depth, and suitability for the Scientist/Engineer ‘SC’ role at ISRO.
Stage 4: Document Verification: Candidates provisionally selected after the interview will undergo document verification. It is crucial to present all original educational certificates, age proof, caste certificates (if applicable), and other relevant documents for verification.
Stage 5: Medical Examination: Finally, selected candidates will be subjected to a medical examination to ensure they meet ISRO’s prescribed physical and medical standards.
Final Merit List: A final merit list will be prepared based on the performance in the Written Test and Interview, after successful document verification and medical clearance.
