Short Information :
The Madhya Pradesh Public Service Commission (MPPSC) has released the online application form for the State Service Examination (SSE) Mains 2026. This recruitment drive, under Advertisement No. 45/2024, aims to fill a total of 158 prestigious posts in various departments of the Madhya Pradesh government. Candidates who successfully qualified the Prelims 2025 exam can now apply for the Mains exam from June 25, 2026, with the last date for application being July 15, 2026. Age Limit & Eligibility Criteria (As on 01 January 2025)
Minimum Age :21 Years
Maximum Age (For Uniformed Post) :33 Years
Maximum Age (For Other Posts) :40 Years
Age Relaxation : Age relaxation will be applicable for candidates belonging to reserved categories (SC/ST/OBC/PWD) as per Madhya Pradesh Government rules. Candidates are advised to check the official notification for specific category-wise relaxation details.
Educational Qualification : Candidates must hold a Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline from a University recognized by the University Grants Commission (UGC) or any other recognized national or state authority. The degree must be completed and results declared before the final date for submission of the Mains application form.
Selection Process
Preliminary Examination (Prelims) : This is the first stage, acting as a screening test. It consists of two objective-type papers. Candidates who qualify this stage are eligible to appear for the Mains examination.
Main Examination (Mains) : This is a comprehensive written examination designed to assess the candidate’s in-depth knowledge, analytical ability, and writing skills across various subjects. Only candidates who successfully clear the Prelims are eligible for the Mains exam.
Interview : Candidates who qualify the Mains examination will be called for a personality test/interview. This stage evaluates the candidate’s personality, general awareness, communication skills, and overall suitability for public service.
Medical Test : A mandatory medical examination is conducted to ensure that selected candidates meet the prescribed physical fitness standards for the respective posts.
The online application process for MPPSC State Service Examination (SSE) Mains 2026 will start on 25 June 2026.
The last date for online application for MPPSC State Service Examination (SSE) Mains 2026 is 15 July 2026.
The application fee is ₹ 540/- for General and Other State candidates, and ₹ 290/- for MP Reserve Category candidates. Portal charges of ₹ 40/- are included.
The minimum age limit is 21 Years. The maximum age is 33 Years for Uniformed Posts and 40 Years for Other Posts, as on 01 January 2025. Age relaxation is applicable as per MPPSC rules.
All candidates who have completed their Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline from a recognized university in India are eligible to apply for this recruitment, provided they qualified the Prelims exam.
