Eligibility : Candidates must have passed 10th Class with Punjabi as one of the subjects and possess a National Apprenticeship Certificate (NAC) in Lineman Trade from a recognized Industrial Training Institute (ITI) or equivalent institution.
Selection Process
Stage 1: Computer Based Test (CBT) Exam : Candidates will be selected based on their performance in a Computer Based Test (CBT). The exam will likely consist of objective-type questions covering relevant technical knowledge, general aptitude, and other subjects as per the syllabus.
Stage 2: Merit List : A merit list will be prepared based on the marks obtained in the CBT Exam. Candidates will be shortlisted for further stages based on their rank in the merit list and category-wise cut-offs.
Stage 3: Document Verification (DV) : Shortlisted candidates will undergo document verification. All original certificates related to educational qualifications, age proof, caste, domicile, NAC, etc., will be scrutinized. Any discrepancy will lead to disqualification.
Stage 4: Medical Examination : Candidates who successfully clear the document verification will be required to undergo a medical examination as per PSPCL’s prescribed standards to ensure they are physically fit for the Assistant Lineman role.

Educational Qualification : Candidates must have passed the 10th standard (Matriculation) examination from a recognized board or institution.
Punjabi Language Requirement : It is mandatory for candidates to have passed 10th class with Punjabi as one of the subjects, or possess equivalent qualification that is recognized by the Government of Punjab.
Technical Qualification : Candidates must hold a National Apprenticeship Certificate (NAC) in Lineman Trade. PSPCL Assistant Lineman (NAC) : Mode Of Selection
Written Examination (CBT) : The primary stage of selection is a Computer Based Test. This exam assesses candidates’ technical knowledge related to the Lineman trade, general awareness, reasoning ability, and quantitative aptitude. Preparation of Merit List : A provisional merit list will be prepared based on the marks secured by candidates in the CBT. Higher marks in the CBT increase the chances of selection.
