  • Eligibility for Graduate Level Posts:
  • For Chief Commercial-cum-Ticket Supervisor, Station Master (SM), Goods Train Manager:
    • Candidates must possess a Bachelor’s Degree or its equivalent from any University recognized by the University Grants Commission (UGC) or State/Central Government in India.
    • Age should be between 18 to 36 years as of January 1, 2025.
    • For Junior Accounts Assistant Cum Typist, Senior Clerk Cum Typist:
      • Candidates must have a Bachelor’s Degree or its equivalent from a recognized university.
      • Additionally, candidates must demonstrate Typing proficiency in English or Hindi on a computer. The typing speed requirements will be specified in the official notification (typically 30 WPM in English / 25 WPM in Hindi).
      • Age should be between 18 to 36 years as of January 1, 2025.

How to Claim RRB NTPC Fee Refund & Update Bank Details

  • Step 1 : Visit the official regional website of the Railway Recruitment Board (RRB) from which you applied, or use the direct “Update Bank Account Details” link provided in the Important Links section below.
  • Step 2 : On the homepage, look for the notification related to “RRB NTPC Graduate Level Fee Refund” or “Update Bank Account Details for Fee Refund”.
  • Step 3 : Click on the relevant link. A login page will open, prompting for your credentials.
  • Step 4 : Enter your Registration Number / Enrollment Number and your Date of Birth / Password, as required.
  • Step 5 : Carefully enter the Captcha Code shown on the screen to proceed.
  • Step 6 : Click on the “Login / Submit” button.

Railway RRB NTPC Recruitment 2024 : Mode Of Selection

  • Stage 1: First Stage Computer Based Test (CBT-I): This is a screening examination. Candidates are shortlisted for CBT-II based on their performance in CBT-I. The questions are generally from General Awareness, Mathematics, and General Intelligence & Reasoning.
  • Stage 2: Second Stage Computer Based Test (CBT-II): Candidates equal to 20 times the vacancies are called for CBT-II. This stage is more detailed, covering General Awareness, Mathematics, and General Intelligence & Reasoning, with a higher difficulty level than CBT-I. The marks obtained in CBT-II determine the final merit list for most posts.
  • Stage 3: Computer Based Aptitude Test (CBAT) / Typing Skill Test (CBTST):
    • CBAT: Applicable for Station Master and Traffic Assistant posts. Candidates are tested on their aptitude, memory, and perception. It’s a qualifying test, and 70% weightage is given to CBT-II marks and 30% to CBAT marks for these specific posts.
    • CBTST: Applicable for Junior Clerk cum Typist, Accounts Clerk cum Typist, Junior Time Keeper, Trains Clerk, Commercial cum Ticket Clerk, Senior Clerk cum Typist, Junior Accounts Assistant cum Typist, Senior Time Keeper posts. Candidates must qualify a typing test in English or Hindi at specified speeds.
