Selection Process

  • Stage 1: Shortlisting: Initially, candidates will be shortlisted based on their eligibility criteria, academic qualifications, relevant professional certifications, and other parameters as decided by the Bank. The Bank reserves the right to call only a limited number of candidates for the interview, giving due weightage to higher qualifications and/or experience.
  • Stage 2: Interview: Shortlisted candidates will be called for a personal interview. This stage aims to assess the candidate’s in-depth knowledge of trade finance, general banking awareness, communication skills, problem-solving abilities, and overall suitability for the Specialist Cadre Officer role. Candidates should prepare by reviewing core concepts of foreign exchange, international trade, relevant regulations, and current affairs in the banking sector.
  • Stage 3: Document Verification (DV): Candidates provisionally selected after the interview will undergo a mandatory document verification process. It is crucial for candidates to present all original documents including educational certificates, professional certifications (Forex, CDCS, etc.), age proof, caste/category certificates (if applicable), work experience letters, and valid identity proof.
