  • Total Posts : 1871 for Sub-Inspector (SI) positions across Delhi Police and various Central Armed Police Forces (CAPF) such as Border Security Force (BSF), Central Industrial Security Force (CISF), Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF), Indo-Tibetan Border Police (ITBP), and Sashastra Seema Bal (SSB).
  • Educational Qualification : A candidate must possess a Bachelor’s Degree from a recognized University or equivalent. This means candidates from any stream (Arts, Science, Commerce, Engineering, etc.) holding a graduation degree are eligible.
  • Driving License Requirement : Specifically for male candidates applying for Sub Inspector (Executive) in Delhi Police, a valid Light Motor Vehicle (LMV) driving license for both motorcycle and car is a mandatory requirement. This license must be held on the date of the Physical Endurance Test (PET) and Physical Standard Test (PST).

  • Stage 1: Paper I (Computer Based Examination) :
    • This is an objective type multiple-choice examination covering General Intelligence & Reasoning, General Knowledge & General Awareness, Quantitative Aptitude, and English Comprehension. Each section carries 50 marks, totaling 200 marks.
    • Duration: 2 hours. There will be negative marking for incorrect answers.

    • Stage 2: Physical Standard Test (PST) and Physical Endurance Test (PET) :
