Age Limit & Eligibility Criteria- Age Limit: As per the official scheme rules. - Domicile: Candidates must be a permanent resident of Uttar Pradesh and possess a valid Domicile Certificate of Uttar Pradesh to avail this scholarship facility.
- Pre-Matric Scholarship (Class 9th & 10th):
- For Class 9th: Candidates must have successfully cleared their Class 8th examination from a recognized board/school and be currently enrolled in Class 9th.
- For Class 10th: Candidates must have successfully cleared their Class 9th examination from a recognized board/school and be currently enrolled in Class 10th.
- Post-Matric Scholarship (Class 11th & 12th):
- For Class 11th: Candidates must have successfully cleared their Class 10th (Matriculation) examination from a recognized board and be currently enrolled in Class 11th.
- For Class 12th: Candidates must have successfully cleared their Class 11th examination from a recognized board and be currently enrolled in Class 12th.
- Dashmottar Scholarship (Post-Matric Other Than Intermediate):
- Candidates must be currently enrolled in any Undergraduate (UG), Postgraduate (PG), Diploma, or Certificate course from a recognized university or institution in Uttar Pradesh.
- This includes courses like BA, B.Sc, B.Com, B.Tech, MA, M.Sc, M.Com, M.Tech, various Diploma programs, ITI, and other professional courses.
- All applicants must meet the academic performance criteria as specified in the official notification (e.g., minimum percentage in the last qualifying examination).

Application and Verification Process- Online Application Submission: Eligible candidates must fill out the online application form on the official UP Scholarship portal within the specified dates for their respective class/course.
- Document Upload (if required): Scan and upload necessary documents as per the instructions in the online application form.
- Application Form Printout: After successful online submission, candidates are required to take a printout of the complete application form.
- Document Attachment: Attach all relevant self-attested documents (as specified in the “Documents Required” section below) to the printed application form.
- Hard Copy Submission to College/Institution: The complete hard copy of the application form along with all attached documents must be submitted to the candidate’s respective school/college/institution before the final due date.
- College/Institution Verification: The submitted forms will be verified by the respective educational institution.
- District Welfare Committee Verification: Post-institutional verification, the applications undergo further scrutiny and verification by the District Social Welfare Committee.
- Fund Disbursement: Upon successful verification and approval, the scholarship amount will be directly credited to the linked bank accounts of the eligible students.

How to Apply- Interested candidates who wish to apply for the UP Scholarship 2025-26 can submit their application online before 20 December 2025 (for Post-Matric Other Than Intermediate) and 30 October 2025 (for Pre & Post-Matric Intermediate).

- Alternatively, visit the official website of Social Welfare Department of Uttar Pradesh to complete the application process online.
- Make sure to complete the online application and submit the hard copy to your institution before the deadlines: 30 October 2025 for Pre & Post-Matric, and 20 December 2025 for Post-Matric Other Than Inter.
