How to Download Admit Card
Step 1 : Visit the official website of Uttar Pradesh Pollution Control Board (uppcb.up.gov.in) or click the direct download link provided in the “Important Links” section below.
Step 2 : On the homepage, locate and click on the “Admit Card” section or specifically the “UPPCB AEE & ASO Admit Card 2026” link.
Step 3 : A login portal will appear. Enter your credentials such as your Application / Registration Number and Date of Birth / Password. Ensure all details are entered correctly.
Step 4 : Click on the “Submit” or “Login” button.
Step 5 : Your Admit Card for UPPCB AEE & ASO Examination 2026 will be displayed on the screen.
Step 6 : Carefully verify all the details mentioned on the admit card (name, photograph, signature, exam date, time, venue). Download the admit card and take at least 2-3 printouts for exam day and future reference. It is mandatory to carry a printed copy to the examination hall.
Exam Pattern
The selection process for UPPCB AEE & ASO posts involves a Computer Based Test (CBT) Examination followed by an Interview.
The CBT exam will consist of objective-type multiple-choice questions designed to assess candidates’ technical knowledge, general awareness, and aptitude relevant to the respective posts.

What to Carry to Exam
Printed Admit Card: A clear printout of your UPPCB AEE & ASO Admit Card 2026.
Valid Photo ID Proof: Original and a photocopy of any government-issued ID proof such as Aadhar Card, PAN Card, Voter ID, Passport, or Driving License.
Passport Size Photographs: Two recent passport-size photographs (preferably the same as uploaded in the application form).
Pen: A blue or black ballpoint pen (check admit card for specific instructions on stationery allowed).
Transparent Water Bottle: For hydration, if allowed.
Mask and Hand Sanitizer: As per prevailing health and safety guidelines (if applicable).

Eligibility: Candidates must possess a Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering, Chemical Technology, Civil Engineering, or Environmental Engineering from a recognized university in India. Additionally, candidates holding an AMIE (Associate Member of the Institution of Engineers, India) in Chemical, Civil, or Environmental Engineering are also considered eligible as an equivalent qualification.
Assistant Scientific Officer (ASO) – 14 Posts
Eligibility: Candidates must have a Doctorate (Ph.D.) in Chemistry, Zoology, Botany, or Biochemistry from a recognized university in India, along with at least 3 years of experience in Environment, Pollution Control, or Public Health. Alternatively, candidates with a Master’s degree in Chemistry, Zoology, Botany, or Biochemistry from a recognized university are also eligible, provided they have a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in the same fields.

Maximum Age : 40 Years

UPPCB AEE & ASO Recruitment 2026 : Mode Of Selection
Computer Based Test (CBT) Examination: This is the initial stage where candidates will appear for an online examination. The CBT will assess their knowledge and aptitude relevant to the Assistant Environmental Engineer and Assistant Scientific Officer positions.
Interview: Candidates who successfully qualify the Computer Based Test will be shortlisted and called for a personal interview. The interview aims to evaluate candidates’ communication skills, personality, and in-depth understanding of their respective fields.
Document Verification: Shortlisted candidates will undergo a mandatory document verification process to ensure the authenticity of their educational qualifications, age, experience, and other essential credentials as per the official notification.
Medical Examination: A medical fitness examination may also be conducted for selected candidates to ensure they meet the physical standards required for the posts, as per the Uttar Pradesh Pollution Control Board guidelines.
