• Educational Qualification: A Bachelor’s degree in any stream from a recognized university in India.
• Physical Eligibility: Candidates must also meet the physical and medical standards specified in the official notification.

Selection Process

• Stage 1: Written Examination: Consisting of two papers (Paper I – General Ability & Intelligence, Paper II – General Studies, Essay & Comprehension).
• Stage 2: Physical Standards Test (PST) & Physical Efficiency Test (PET): Candidates qualifying the written exam will undergo physical tests.
• Stage 3: Medical Standard Test: Successful candidates from PST/PET will undergo a detailed medical examination.
• Stage 4: Interview / Personality Test: Those declared medically fit will be called for an Interview.
• Stage 5: Final Merit List: Based on performance in Written Examination and Interview.

How to Download Admit Card & Check Exam Date

• Step 1: Visit the official website of the Union Public Service Commission (UPSC).
• Step 2: Navigate to the “Examinations” or “What’s New” section on the homepage.
• Step 3: Click on the “CAPF (Assistant Commandant) Exam Date 2026” notification link to view the exam schedule.
• Step 4: For Admit Card, look for the “e-Admit Card for CAPF (AC) Exam 2026” link (when available).
• Step 5: You will be prompted to enter your Enrollment Number, Registration Number, or Date of Birth and other required credentials.
• Step 6: After successful login, your Admit Card will be displayed on the screen.
• Step 7: Carefully check all details on the Admit Card, including your name, photograph, exam date, time, and venue.
• Step 8: Download the Admit Card PDF and take at least two printouts for future reference and for carrying to the examination center.
• Step 9: Keep visiting the official UPSC website regularly for the latest updates.

What to Carry to Exam

• Printed Admit Card: A clear printout of your UPSC CAPF AC 2026 Admit Card.
• Valid Photo ID Proof: Original (and a photocopy) of any government-issued Photo ID such as Aadhar Card, PAN Card, Passport, Driving License, or Voter ID.
• Passport Size Photographs: Two recent passport-size photographs (same as uploaded in the application form).
• Pen: Black Ball Point Pen for Paper I (Objective type).
• Water Bottle: A transparent water bottle (optional).
• Safety Guidelines: Follow all COVID-19 related guidelines or any other instructions mentioned on your admit card.
• Prohibited Items: Do NOT carry any electronic devices, calculators, study material, or any unauthorized items into the examination hall.
