Age Limit & Eligibility Criteria (as on 01 July 2026)

  • Minimum Age : 21 Years
  • Maximum Age : 40 Years.
  • Age Relaxation : Extra age relaxation will be provided as per UPSSSC Examination 2026 rules for reserved categories. Candidates should refer to the official notification for detailed category-wise age relaxation provisions.
  • Eligibility Criteria : Candidates must possess the specific Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree/Diploma with required percentage marks in the relevant discipline as detailed in the “Vacancy Details & Post-wise Eligibility” section below.

Selection Process

  • Stage 1: Shortlisting based on PET 2025 Score : Applicants will first be shortlisted for the main examination based on their scores in the Preliminary Eligibility Test (PET) 2025. Only candidates meeting the cut-off determined by UPSSSC will be eligible for the next stage.
  • Stage 2: Written Examination : Shortlisted candidates will appear for a written examination. This exam will assess knowledge relevant to the Senior Instructor post. The exam pattern and syllabus will be released in the official notification.
  • Stage 3: Document Verification (DV) : Candidates who qualify the written examination will be called for Document Verification. It is crucial to have all original documents and their self-attested photocopies ready for this stage.
  • Stage 4: Medical Test : After successful document verification, candidates may undergo a medical fitness test as per the standards prescribed by UPSSSC.
