Eligibility Criteria & Age Limit

• Eligibility Criteria: Candidates must hold a Bachelor’s Degree in Law (3-year LLB or 5-year integrated LLB) from a university recognized by the Bar Council of India (BCI).
• Age Limit: There is No Age Limit for appearing in the All India Bar Examination.

How to Download Admit Card

• Step 1 : Visit the official All India Bar Examination (AIBE) website or click on the “Download Admit Card” link provided in the Important Links section below.
• Step 2 : Look for the “AIBE 21st Login” or “Candidate Login” section on the homepage.
• Step 3 : Enter your credentials: Login ID, Password, and the displayed Captcha Code.
• Step 4 : Click on the “Login” button to access your dashboard/profile.
• Step 5 : Locate and click on the “Download Admit Card 2026” link.
• Step 6 : Your AIBE XXI Admit Card will be displayed on the screen.
• Step 7 : Download the PDF file and take a clear colour printout. It is advisable to take multiple printouts for safety.

Exam Pattern & Syllabus

• Exam Type: Open Book Examination
• Total Questions: 100 Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs)
• Total Marks: 100 Marks
• Duration: 3 Hours 30 Minutes
• Negative Marking: There is no negative marking in the AIBE.
• Passing Marks: General/OBC candidates need 40% (40 marks), SC/ST/PwBD candidates need 35% (35 marks).
• Syllabus: The examination covers various subjects including Constitutional Law, IPC, CrPC, CPC, Law of Evidence, Family Law, Law of Contract, Specific Relief, Property Law, Negotiable Instruments Act, Environmental Law, Cyber Law, and more. What to Carry to Exam Centre

• Printed Admit Card: A clear, coloured printout of your AIBE XXI Admit Card is mandatory.
• Valid Photo ID Proof: Original and a photocopy of any one of the following: Aadhar Card, PAN Card, Driving License, Passport, Voter ID. The name on the ID must match the name on the admit card.
• Passport Size Photograph: Carry 2-3 recent passport size photographs (same as uploaded in the application form).
• Pen: A blue/black ballpoint pen for marking answers on the OMR sheet.
• Books & Study Material: As AIBE is an open-book exam, candidates are allowed to carry bare acts, notes, and textbooks. Electronic devices, however, are strictly prohibited.
• Water Bottle: A transparent water bottle (optional).
• Face Mask & Hand Sanitizer: (If specified by exam authorities).
