Bihar Home Guard Havildar Clerk : Age Limit & Eligibility Criteria
Age Limit (as on 01 August 2025):
Minimum Age : 24 Years (for All Categories)
Maximum Age : 50 Years
Age Relaxation: As per Bihar Police BPSSC regulations for various categories. Candidates are advised to refer to the official notification for detailed age relaxation rules.
Candidates must have passed 10+2 (Intermediate) or its equivalent examination from a recognized board or institution in India.
Bihar Home Guard Havildar Clerk : Selection Process
1. Written Examination (OMR Based): This is the first stage. Candidates will appear for an objective-type OMR-based written test. The exam will assess candidates’ general knowledge, current affairs, and other relevant subjects. Successful candidates will qualify for the physical tests.
2. Physical Efficiency Test (PET) / Physical Standard Test (PST): Candidates who clear the written exam will undergo physical measurement and efficiency tests. These tests include running, high jump, and shot put (Gola Fek) to assess physical fitness and endurance. Meeting the specified physical standards is mandatory.
3. Final Merit List: A final merit list will be prepared based on the candidate’s performance in the Written Examination (or a combination of written and physical tests, as per official notification) and other selection criteria. Document verification will be conducted for candidates on the merit list before final selection.
