Age Limit & Eligibility Criteria

• Age Limits As On 01 August 2025
• Minimum Age : 18 Years
• Maximum Age : 30 Years
• Age relaxation for various categories (SC/ST/OBC/PH/Ex-Servicemen) will be applicable as per Staff Selection Commission (SSC) regulations, details of which can be found in the official notification.
• Eligibility Criteria (As per SSC CGL Notification 2025):
• For All Other Posts : Candidates must hold a Bachelor’s Degree in any stream (Arts, Science, Commerce, etc.) from a university recognized by the Government of India or equivalent institution.
• For Junior Statistical Officer (JSO) : Candidates must have a Bachelor’s Degree in any subject from a recognized University or Institute with at least 60% marks in Mathematics at 12th Standard level OR a Bachelor’s Degree with Statistics as one of the subjects at degree level.
• For Assistant Audit Officer/Assistant Accounts Officer : Candidates must possess a Bachelor’s Degree from a recognized University or Institute. The desirable qualification includes professional qualifications such as Chartered Accountant (CA) or Cost & Management Accountant (CMA) or Company Secretary (CS) or Master in Commerce (M.Com) or Master in Business Studies (MBS) or Master in Business Administration (Finance) or Master in Business Economics.

How to Check SSC CGL Final Result 2026

• Step 1 : Visit the official website of the Staff Selection Commission (SSC) at ssc.gov.in.
• Step 2 : Navigate to the “Results” section, typically found on the homepage or in the main navigation menu.
• Step 3 : Under the “Results” section, click on the “CGL” (Combined Graduate Level) tab.
• Step 4 : Look for and click on the link titled “Final Result 2026 for Combined Graduate Level Examination 2025” or similar.
• Step 5 : The result will generally open in a PDF document format, which contains the Roll Numbers and Names of provisionally selected candidates.
• Step 6 : To quickly find your result, press Ctrl + F (or Command + F on Mac) on your keyboard and enter your Roll Number or Name.
• Step 7 : If your Roll Number or Name is present in the list, it indicates your provisional selection for a post.
• Step 8 : Download the result PDF and take a printout for your records and for use during the Document Verification process.

SSC CGL 2025 : Mode Of Selection

• Tier-I Examination (Computer Based Test): This is the first stage, serving as a screening test. It covers General Intelligence & Reasoning, General Awareness, Quantitative Aptitude, and English Comprehension.
• Tier-II Examination (Computer Based Test): This is the main examination, conducted in various Modules and Sections depending on the post. It assesses candidates in Quantitative Abilities, English Language and Comprehension, Statistics, General Studies (Finance & Economics), and Computer Knowledge Test.
• Skill Test (DEST/CPT): For certain Group ‘B’ and Group ‘C’ posts, a Data Entry Speed Test (DEST) or Computer Proficiency Test (CPT) is mandatory to evaluate candidates’ computer skills.
• Document Verification (DV): Candidates qualifying in all examination stages are called for Document Verification to ascertain the authenticity of their educational qualifications, age, category, etc.
• Medical Examination: A final medical examination is conducted as per the physical and medical standards for various posts to ensure candidates are fit for duty.
