Age Limit & Eligibility Criteria

  • Candidates Born Between : 01 April 2000 to 31 March 2007 (both dates inclusive)
  • Maximum Age for Widows of Defence Personnel : 35 Years
  • Age relaxation will be provided as per Indian Army rules and regulations.

Selection Process

  • Stage 1: Shortlisting of Applications
  • Stage 2: SSB Interview
    • Stage I (Screening): Picture Perception & Discussion Test (PP&DT) and Officer Intelligence Rating (OIR) Test. Candidates who clear Stage I proceed to Stage II.
    • Stage II: Consists of Psychological Tests, Group Testing Officer (GTO) Tasks, Personal Interview, and Conference. This comprehensive evaluation assesses a candidate’s Officer Like Qualities (OLQs).

  • Candidates who have a Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering in a Related Trade from a recognized university/institution will be eligible.
  • Specific Engineering disciplines often include: Civil, Electrical, Mechanical, Computer Science, Electronics & Communication, Aeronautical, IT, Production, Automobile, Telecommunication, etc.
  • Final year students of Engineering Degree Course are also eligible to apply provided they submit proof of passing Engineering Degree Examination along with marksheets of all semesters/years by a specified date (usually within 12 weeks of commencement of training).
SSCW (Non-Tech)01 Post
  • Candidates who have a Bachelor’s Degree in Any Discipline from any recognized university / college will be considered for this post.
  • This includes degrees such as B.A., B.Sc., B.Com., BCA, BBA, etc.
