Age Limit & Eligibility Criteria

• As of the prescribed cut-off date, the minimum age limit for applicants is 18 Years and the maximum age limit is 35 Years.
• Age relaxation for reserved categories (SC/ST/EBC/BC/EWS) will be applicable as per the existing rules and regulations of the Jharkhand Staff Selection Commission. Please refer to the official notification for specific details on age relaxation.
• Candidates must have successfully passed the Intermediate (12th Class) Examination from a recognized Board or educational Institute. This is a mandatory educational qualification for all applicants. No specific stream (Arts, Science, Commerce) is mentioned as a restriction, implying any stream is acceptable, but confirmation from the official brochure is always advised.

Selection Process

• The selection process for JSSC 10+2 Inter Level JILCCE Recruitment 2026 will involve multiple stages designed to assess the suitability of candidates for the positions.
• Written Examination: The first stage will be a competitive written examination. This exam will typically consist of multiple-choice questions (MCQs) covering subjects such as General Studies, General Knowledge of Jharkhand, General Science, General Mathematics, Mental Ability, and Computer Knowledge. The syllabus and exam pattern will be detailed in the official notification. Candidates must perform well in this stage to be eligible for subsequent rounds.
• Physical Efficiency Test (PET) / Physical Standard Test (PST): Candidates who qualify the written examination will be called for PET/PST. This stage will evaluate the physical fitness and measurements of candidates according to prescribed standards. • Medical Examination: Successful candidates from the PET/PST stage will undergo a medical examination to ensure they meet the essential health standards required for government service. This includes checks for vision, hearing, physical deformities, and general health.
• Document Verification: A thorough verification of all original documents (educational certificates, age proof, caste certificates, domicile certificates, etc.) will be conducted for provisionally selected candidates. It is crucial to have all documents in order as specified in the official advertisement.
• The final merit list will be prepared based on the candidate’s performance in the Written Examination and other stages, subject to qualifying in PET/PST, Medical Exam, and Document Verification.
