Selection Process

  • Computer Based Test (CBT): This is the primary stage of selection. Eligibility Criteria (Discipline-wise):

  • Petroleum Engineering: Candidates must possess a Bachelor’s degree in Petroleum Engineering or Applied Petroleum Engineering. A minimum of 60% marks from a university or institution recognized by AICTE/UGC is mandatory.
  • Mechanical Engineering: Candidates are required to hold a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering. A minimum of 60% marks from a recognized university or institution is essential.
  • Chemical Engineering: Applicants must have a Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering. A minimum aggregate of 60% marks from a recognized university or institution is a prerequisite.
  • Instrumentation Engineering: A Bachelor’s degree in Instrumentation Engineering is required. Candidates must have secured a minimum of 60% marks from a recognized university or institution.
  • Geology: Candidates must have a Postgraduate degree in Geology, or an M.Sc./M.Tech. in Petroleum Geoscience, or an M.Sc./M.Tech. in Petroleum Geology, or an M.Tech. in Geological Technology. A minimum of 60% marks from a recognized university or institution is compulsory for this stream.
