Age Limit & Eligibility Criteria

• Minimum Age : 18 Years
• Maximum Age : 45 Years
• Age Calculation Date: As on 01 January 2026.
• Age Relaxation: MPESB provides age relaxation for the Group-2 Sub Group-4 Patwari posts as per their existing government regulations for various reserved categories (SC/ST/OBC/PWD/Ex-Servicemen, etc.). Candidates are advised to refer to the official notification for specific details on age relaxation.
• Eligibility Criteria: Candidates must fulfill the following educational and other qualifications:
  • Must hold a Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline from a university recognized by the Government of India or possess an equivalent qualification approved by the Central Government.
  • Possession of a CPCT Scorecard (Computer Proficiency Certification Test) which includes Hindi Typing and Computer Efficiency. This certification is mandatory to demonstrate proficiency in computer operations and Hindi typing, which are essential for Patwari duties.

Selection Process

• Stage 1: Written Examination (200 Marks)
  • This is the primary stage of selection, consisting of a competitive written examination.
  • The exam will likely comprise two parts, each carrying 100 marks, totaling 200 marks.
  • Candidates need to qualify this stage to proceed further. The syllabus and exam pattern typically cover General Science, General Hindi, General English, General Mathematics, General Knowledge & Aptitude, Computer Knowledge, General Reasoning, and General Management.
  • Preparation Tip: Thoroughly study the official syllabus, practice previous year papers, and focus on time management.
• Stage 2: Document Verification
  • Candidates who clear the written examination will be called for document verification.
  • It is crucial to present all original documents (educational certificates, age proof, caste certificates, domicile, CPCT scorecard, etc.) along with their self-attested copies as specified in the official notification.
  • Any discrepancy or missing document can lead to disqualification.
  • Tip: Keep all original documents ready and create multiple sets of photocopies well in advance.
1. Stage 3: Medical Examination
   • After successful document verification, candidates will undergo a medical examination to ensure they meet the prescribed physical and medical standards for the Patwari post.
