• Primary School Teacher (Post Code 1 to 4) – 10150 Posts:
  • Candidates must have passed the MP TET (2020 or 2024).
  • And meet one of the following educational qualifications from a recognized institution:
    • 12th Class with at least 50% marks + 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education (D.El.Ed.) or Special Education.
    • 12th Class with at least 45% marks + 2-year D.El.Ed. (as per NCTE 2002 norms).
    • 12th Class with at least 50% marks + 4-year Bachelor of Elementary Education (B.El.Ed.).
    • Graduation + 2-year D.El.Ed.
  • Reserved categories (SC/ST/OBC/PwD) are eligible for a 5% relaxation in the minimum marks requirement for qualifying examinations.
• Primary School Teacher – Science (Post Code 5 to 10) – 2939 Posts:
  • Candidates must have at least 50% marks in 12th (Science stream).
  • And possess one of the following qualifications from a recognized institution:
    • 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education (D.El.Ed.) or Special Education with the relevant subject.
    • 4-year Bachelor of Elementary Education (B.El.Ed.) with the relevant subject.
  1. SC, ST, OBC, and PwD candidates are eligible for a 5% relaxation in the minimum marks requirement.
  2. All qualifications must be from recognized institutions, and required certificates must be verified and submitted on time during the document verification process.

• Written Examination: The primary stage of selection involves a competitive written examination. Candidates’ performance in this exam is crucial for moving to the next stage. The exam tests general knowledge, teaching aptitude, and subject-specific knowledge relevant to primary school teaching.
• Document Verification: Candidates who qualify in the written examination will be called for document verification. This stage involves scrutinizing all original educational qualification certificates, age proof, caste certificates (if applicable), domicile certificates, and other relevant documents to ensure they meet the eligibility criteria mentioned in the official rulebook. Any discrepancy can lead to disqualification.
• Final Merit List: A final merit list will be prepared based on the marks obtained in the written examination, subject to successful document verification. Candidates placed on this merit list will be considered for appointment as Primary School Teachers.
