Age Limit & Eligibility Criteria

  • AIEEA PG 2026 (Post Graduate)
    • Eligibility: Candidates must possess a Bachelor’s degree in a relevant agricultural or allied science subject, or an equivalent qualification, from a university recognized by ICAR or other statutory bodies. The minimum age requirement for PG courses is 19 years as on the cut-off date specified in the official notification.
    • Eligible Subjects/Streams: Plant Biotechnology, Plant Science, Physical Science, Entomology and Nematology, Agronomy, Social Science, Statistical Science, Horticulture, Forestry, Agriculture and Engineering, Water Science and Technology, Home Science, Animal Biotechnology, Veterinary Science, Animal Science, Fisheries Science, Dairy Science, Dairy Technology, Food Science Technology, and Agri Business Management.
    • AIEEA PhD (AICE-JRF/SRF) 2026
      • Eligibility: Candidates must hold a Master’s degree in a related discipline from an ICAR-recognized university or an equivalent qualification. The Master’s degree should align with the discipline for which PhD admission is being sought. The minimum age requirement for PhD courses is 20 years as on the cut-off date specified in the official notification.
      • Eligible Disciplines: Crop Sciences I, II, and III; Horticulture; Veterinary and Animal Science I, II, and III; Dairy Science; Dairy Technology and Food Technology; Agricultural Engineering and Technology; Home Science; Fishery Science; Natural Science Management I and II; Agricultural Economics and Agribusiness Management; Agricultural Extension; and Agricultural Statistics.
