The Local Self Government Department, Rajasthan, has issued an official notification (Advt. No. 01/206) for the recruitment of Safai Karmchari (Sweeper) posts. Applicants must possess 1 Year Experience in Safai Karmchari Work. This experience should be obtained from a recognized local body (Nagar Palika, Nagar Parishad, Nagar Nigam), any government department, semi-government department, autonomous body, or a private organization/contractor engaged in sanitation work. An experience certificate from the respective employer/authority, clearly stating the duration and nature of work, will be required during document verification.
Selection Process
Stage 1: Merit List by Lottery System
Due to the large number of expected applicants and the nature of the post requiring practical skills rather than academic prowess, the initial shortlisting of candidates will be done through a transparent lottery system. This system will randomly select candidates for further stages from the pool of eligible applicants. The lottery system ensures impartiality in the initial screening phase.
Stage 2: Document Verification (DV)
Shortlisted candidates from the lottery system will be called for document verification. It is crucial to present all original documents along with self-attested photocopies. The required documents typically include:
Aadhaar Card / Other Photo ID Proof
Domicile Certificate of Rajasthan
Experience Certificate (1 Year in Safai Karmchari Work)
Date of Birth Proof (Class 10th Marksheet/Certificate)
Caste Certificate (for OBC/SC/ST candidates)
Income and Asset Certificate (for EWS candidates)
Disability Certificate (for PwD candidates)
Passport Size Photographs
Any other document as specified in the official notification.

Stage 3: Medical Examination
Candidates who successfully clear the document verification stage will undergo a medical examination.
