The Sashastra Seema Bal (SSB) has released the Correction / Edit Form for the Sub Inspector (SI) and Assistant Sub Inspector (ASI) Non-GD Recruitment 2026. Candidates who applied for the 58 available posts can now make necessary corrections to their application forms. The correction window is active from 06 May 2026 to 08 May 2026. All applicants are advised to verify their details and make corrections within this period.

Educational Qualification: Candidates must meet specific post-wise eligibility criteria including 10+2 Intermediate, Diploma, or Bachelor’s Degree in relevant fields from a recognized board/university, along with specific experience for certain Assistant Sub Inspector (ASI) posts. Selection Process
Phase I: Physical Efficiency Test (PET) & Physical Standard Test (PST) – Candidates must meet specified physical standards and clear endurance tests.
Phase II: Written Examination – A competitive written exam will be conducted for eligible candidates. The syllabus and exam pattern will be detailed in the official notification.
Phase III: Trade / Skill Test – Applicable for posts requiring specific technical skills, such as Staff Nurse, Radiographer, Pharmacist, etc. Candidates will be assessed on practical skills related to their trade.
Phase IV: Document Verification – Successful candidates will undergo verification of all original documents (educational certificates, age proof, caste certificates, experience certificates, etc.).
Phase V: Medical Examination – Finally, candidates will undergo a thorough medical examination to ensure they meet the prescribed medical standards of SSB.
How to Make Corrections to SSB SI / ASI Non-GD Online Form 2026
Candidates who have already applied for SSB SI / ASI Non-GD Recruitment 2026 and wish to make corrections to their application form can do so during the specified correction window.
The online correction window is active from 06 May 2026 to 08 May 2026.

Post-wise Eligibility Criteria:
Sub Inspector (Staff Nurse): Candidates must have a Diploma in General Nursing & Midwifery (GNM) along with valid registration in the Nursing Council.
Sub Inspector (Pioneer): Candidates must have a Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering from a recognized university.
Sub Inspector (Communication): Candidates must have a Bachelor’s Degree in Electronics, Information Technology (IT), Computer Science, or related fields from a recognized university.
Assistant Sub Inspector ASI (Radiographer): Candidates must have passed 12th (Intermediate) from a recognized board. They should also possess a two-year Diploma in Medical Imaging Technology or Radiography, along with at least one year of experience as a Radiographer in a radiology imaging center or a minimum 100-bedded hospital.
Assistant Sub Inspector ASI (Pharmacist): Candidates must have passed 12th (Intermediate) from a recognized board. They should also possess a two-year Diploma in Pharmacy and must be registered as a Pharmacist under the Pharmacy Act, 1948, along with at least one year of experience as a Pharmacist in a minimum 100-bedded hospital or a recognized institution.
Assistant Sub Inspector ASI (Operation Theater Technician): Candidates must have passed 12th (Intermediate) from a recognized board. They should also possess a two-year Diploma in Operation Theatre Technology / Technician, along with at least one year of work experience as an OT Technician in a minimum 100-bedded hospital or a recognized institution.
Assistant Sub Inspector ASI (Dental Technician): Candidates must have passed 12th (Intermediate) from a recognized board. They should also possess a two-year Diploma in Dental Hygienist and must be registered with the Dental Council of India, along with at least one year of work experience in a dental unit of a dental hospital or a minimum 100-bedded hospital.
