    • Educational Qualification: Master’s Degree in Hindi with English as a compulsory or elective subject or as the medium of examination; OR Master’s Degree in English with Hindi as a compulsory or elective subject or as the medium of examination; OR Master’s Degree in any subject (other than Hindi or English) with English medium and Hindi as a compulsory subject at the graduation level.
    • Translation Experience/Diploma: Candidates must also possess a recognized Diploma or Certificate of translation from Hindi to English and vice versa, OR have two years of experience in translation work from Hindi to English and vice versa in Central or State Government Offices or Public Sector Undertakings or Autonomous Bodies.

SSC JHT, JT, CHT Examination 2025 : Mode Of Selection
  • Paper-I (Computer Based Test – CBT): This is the first stage of the examination, comprising objective type questions on General Hindi and General English. Candidates must qualify Paper-I to be eligible for Paper-II.
  • Paper-II (Descriptive Test): Candidates who clear Paper-I are required to appear for Paper-II, which is a descriptive test designed to assess translation skills and writing abilities in Hindi and English.
  • Document Verification (DV): Candidates who qualify in both Paper-I and Paper-II will be called for document verification. It is mandatory to produce all original documents as specified in the official notification.
  • Medical Examination: After successful document verification, candidates will undergo a medical examination as per the standards set by the Staff Selection Commission.
