Selection Process

UPSSSC Junior Engineer JE (Mechanical) : Detailed Eligibility Criteria
UPSSSC PET 2025 Qualification: Candidates must have appeared and secured a valid score in the Uttar Pradesh Preliminary Eligibility Test (PET) 2025. This score will be used for shortlisting candidates for the main examination.
Educational Qualification:
A 3-Year Diploma in Mechanical Engineering from a recognized State Board of Technical Education or a university/institution approved by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE).
A 3-Year Diploma in Automobile Engineering from a recognized State Board of Technical Education or an AICTE-approved university/institution.
Intermediate with IT/Diploma Education: This implies that candidates having passed Intermediate (10+2) along with an Industrial Training (IT) Diploma or a general Diploma (other than Engineering specific diploma mentioned above) might be considered equivalent. UPSSSC Junior Engineer JE (Mechanical) : Mode Of Selection
Step 1: UP PET 2025 Shortlisting: The first stage involves shortlisting candidates based on their scores in the Preliminary Eligibility Test (PET) 2025 conducted by UPSSSC. A specific cut-off score will be announced for eligibility to the Mains Examination.
Step 2: Mains Written Examination: Candidates who are shortlisted from PET will appear for a comprehensive Mains Written Examination.
