Age Limit & Eligibility Criteria

• Age Limit as on 01 July 2026:
• Minimum Age : 21 Years
• Maximum Age : 26 Years
• Age Relaxation: Extra as per Allahabad High Court Research Associates Recruitment 2026 rules. Candidates belonging to reserved categories (SC/ST/OBC/PH) may be eligible for age relaxation as per Uttar Pradesh Government norms. Refer to the official notification for specific details.
• Candidates must possess a Bachelor Degree in Law (LL.B. 3 Years / 5 Years) from any University recognized by the Bar Council of India.
• The candidate must have secured at least 55% marks in their LL.B. degree. This is a crucial requirement for applying.
• LL.B. Final Year Appearing Candidates are also eligible to apply, provided they submit their final marksheet/degree before the stipulated date mentioned in the official notification, usually at the time of document verification.

Selection Process

• The selection process for Allahabad High Court Research Associates Recruitment 2026 will primarily involve an Online Computer Based Test (CBT) Examination.
• Stage 1: Online CBT Examination: This will be the initial screening stage. The exam pattern and syllabus (covering subjects like General Studies, Legal Aptitude, etc.) will be detailed in the official notification. Candidates are advised to prepare thoroughly based on the prescribed syllabus.
• Stage 2: Document Verification (DV): Candidates who qualify the CBT will be called for Document Verification.
