Age Limit & Eligibility Criteria

• Age Limit as on 15 July 2026:
• Minimum Age : 18 – 21 Years (Post Wise)
• Maximum Age : 30 – 35 Years (Post Wise)
• Age relaxation will be provided as per Delhi Subordinate Services Selection Board (DSSSB) regulations for various categories.
• Educational Qualification (Post Wise):
• Candidates must possess a Master’s Degree in Physics, Mathematics, Applied Mathematics, or Forensic Science (with Physics/Mathematics studied during all three years of B.Sc.) from a recognized University.
• Alternatively, candidates may hold a B.E./B.Tech in Biotechnology from a recognized University for specific posts.
• General Eligibility: For a wide range of other posts, common qualifications include 10th Pass, 12th Pass, Bachelor’s Degree, or Post Graduate Degree in relevant disciplines from a recognized board/university.
• Candidates are highly advised to refer to the Official Notification for detailed post-specific eligibility criteria, educational qualifications, and experience requirements before applying.

Selection Process

• Written Exam/CBT (Computer Based Test): This is typically the first stage and assesses candidates on General Awareness, General Intelligence & Reasoning Ability, Arithmetical & Numerical Ability, Hindi Language & Comprehension, English Language & Comprehension, and Subject/Post-specific knowledge.
• Skill Test/ Typing Test / Computer Test: For posts requiring specific skills (e.g., Data Entry Operator, LDC, Stenographer), a skill test will be conducted to evaluate proficiency.
• Interview: For some higher-level or specific posts, an interview round may be conducted to assess communication skills, personality, and suitability for the role.
• Document Verification (DV): Candidates shortlisted based on the written exam/skill test will undergo document verification. It is crucial to present all original educational, age, caste, and other relevant certificates as per the official notification.
• Medical Examination: A medical fitness test will be conducted to ensure candidates meet the prescribed physical and medical standards for the respective posts.
