Age Limit & Eligibility Criteria

• Age Limit as on 01 July 2026
• Minimum Age for Computer Assistant : 18 Years
• Minimum Age for Review Officer (RO) / Assistant Review Officer (ARO) : 21 Years
• Maximum Age : 35 Years
• Age Relaxation Extra as per Allahabad High Court Examination 2026 Rules.
• Eligibility Criteria (Detailed Post-wise):
• Review Officer (RO) & Assistant Review Officer (ARO):
  • Must possess a Bachelor’s Degree from any recognized University established by law in India or an equivalent qualification.
  • Additionally, candidates must have one of the following computer qualifications:
    • A Diploma or Degree in Computer Science from a recognized University/Institution.
    • An ‘O’ Level Certificate from DOEACC/NIELIT (National Institute of Electronics and Information Technology).
    • A CCC (Course on Computer Concepts) Certificate in Computer Science from a recognized institution.
• Computer Assistant (CA):
  • Must possess a Bachelor’s Degree from a recognized University established by law in India or an equivalent qualification.
  • Required to have practical Knowledge of Data Entry, Word Processing, and Computer Operations, typically assessed through a proficiency test.
  • Must demonstrate a minimum typing speed of 25 words per minute (WPM) in English typing on a computer.

Selection Process

• The primary stage of selection for Allahabad High Court RO / ARO / CA Recruitment 2026 will be an Online CBT Examination (Computer Based Test).
• This written examination will assess candidates’ knowledge across various subjects relevant to the post.
• Further stages may include:
  • Computer Knowledge Test / Typing Test: For posts like ARO and CA, a proficiency test in computer operations and English typing (with a minimum speed requirement) is typically a qualifying stage.
  • Document Verification (DV): Candidates who qualify the written exam and computer tests will be called for document verification. It is essential to carry all original educational and experience certificates, caste certificates (if applicable), ID proof, and passport-size photographs as specified in the official notification.
  • Medical Examination: A medical fitness test may be conducted as per the norms of the Allahabad High Court.
• The final selection will be based on the merit achieved in the Online CBT Examination and successful qualification in subsequent stages.
