Selection Process

Bihar BPSC Deputy Director Recruitment 2026 : Detailed Eligibility Criteria
Educational Qualification: Candidates must possess one of the following degrees from a recognized institution:
A Bachelor’s Degree in Science, OR
A Bachelor’s Degree in Fire Engineering, OR
An Engineering Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical / Automobile discipline.
Specialized Training: Applicants are required to have either:
Passed the Divisional Officer Course from the National Fire College, Nagpur, OR
Completed the prescribed training (minimum 3 months) for Senior Supervisory Officer from an institution recognized by the Central Government.
Work Experience: Candidates should also possess a minimum of 12 years of work experience in the firefighting field. Out of this, at least 2 years must be in a Senior Supervisory or equivalent post within a recognized fire service organization.
