Selection Process for Bihar BTSC Staff Nurse 2025-26

  • Written Examination: The initial stage of the selection process involved a Computer Based Test (CBT). This exam assessed candidates’ knowledge in subjects relevant to the Staff Nurse role, including General Knowledge, Aptitude, and Nursing-specific topics.
  • Interview (Viva-Voce): Candidates who successfully cleared the written examination were shortlisted for an interview. This round evaluates a candidate’s communication skills, problem-solving abilities, professional conduct, and in-depth understanding of nursing principles.
  • Document Verification (DV): After the interview, candidates were called for Document Verification. This is a critical stage where all original documents submitted during the application process (such as educational qualification certificates, age proof, caste certificate, domicile certificate, and registration with the State Nursing Council) are thoroughly checked for authenticity and accuracy. A provisional merit list is often released after this stage, allowing candidates to raise objections if any discrepancies or errors are found.
  • Medical Examination: The final stage of selection is a comprehensive medical fitness examination. This ensures that the selected candidates meet the required physical and health standards to perform the duties of a Staff Nurse effectively.
