The Uttar Pradesh Department of Medical Health & Family Welfare (DGMHFW UP) has released the notification for Admission to its Auxiliary Nurse Midwifery (ANM) Training program for 2026. Online applications started on 01 July 2026, with a total of 1800 seats available. Eligible female candidates can apply till 31 July 2026. Age Limits As On 31 December 2025:
Minimum Age : 17 Years
Maximum Age : 35 Years
Age relaxation will be provided for the ANM Training position as per UP DGMHUP regulations.
Eligibility Criteria:
ANM Training: Female candidates who have passed 10+2 (Intermediate) in Any Stream (Arts, Science, Commerce) from any recognized Board/University in India are eligible.

Selection Process
The selection for UP ANM Training Admission 2026 will be entirely based on a Merit List.
The Merit List will be prepared based on the marks obtained by candidates in their 10th (High School) and 12th (Intermediate) examinations. Higher academic scores will lead to a higher position in the merit list.
Shortlisted candidates from the merit list will subsequently undergo Document Verification (DV) to confirm their eligibility and submitted details.
A Medical Examination may also be conducted to ensure candidates meet the required health standards for ANM training.

UP ANM Training Admission : Mode Of Selection
The selection of candidates for the UP ANM Training Admission 2026 will be based on Merit List. The merit list will be prepared solely on the academic performance of candidates in their 10th and 12th standard examinations.
