Age Limit & Eligibility Criteria (As On 30 April 2026)
Minimum Age : 18 Years
Maximum Age : 27 Years
Age relaxation for reserved categories (SC/ST/OBC/PH) will be applicable as per Government of India rules and NFL regulations. Candidates are advised to refer to the official notification for detailed age relaxation policies.
Eligibility for Field Representative Posts: Candidates must possess a 2-year Diploma or Polytechnic in Agriculture/Horticulture from a recognized university or institution.
A minimum of 50% marks is required for General, OBC, and EWS candidates.
For SC/ST/PH candidates, a minimum of 45% marks in the qualifying diploma is mandatory.
Selection Process
Stage 1: Offline OMR Based Examination: Candidates will first appear for a written test conducted in OMR (Optical Mark Recognition) format. This exam will assess relevant technical knowledge, aptitude, and general awareness. Successful candidates will be shortlisted for the next stage based on their performance in this exam.
Stage 2: Personal Interview: Shortlisted candidates from the written exam will be called for a Personal Interview. The interview aims to evaluate a candidate’s communication skills, problem-solving abilities, suitability for the role, and overall personality.
Stage 3: Document Verification: Candidates who qualify both the written examination and personal interview will undergo document verification. It is crucial to present all original educational, age, caste, and other relevant documents for verification. Any discrepancy found at this stage may lead to disqualification.
Stage 4: Medical Examination: Finally, selected candidates will be required to undergo a medical examination as per NFL’s prescribed health standards. Fitness for the role will be confirmed through this examination.
Final Selection: The final selection will be based on the combined performance in the written examination and personal interview, subject to successful document verification and medical fitness.
