Age Limit & Eligibility Criteria- Age Limit (as on NTPC Rules):
- Minimum Age : Post Wise
- Maximum Age : Post Wise
- NTPC provides age relaxation for the NSPCL Various Post position as per their regulations. Candidates should refer to the official notification for specific age limits and relaxation rules for each post.
- Total Vacancies : 17 Posts
- Sr. Assistant Officer (HR): Candidates must have a Graduate degree with a 2-year full-time PG Degree/Diploma/Program in Management with specialization in HR, Industrial Relations, or Personnel Management, or MSW, MHROD, or MBA in HR, with at least 60% marks from a recognized Indian University/Institute.
- Sr. Assistant Officer (Law): Candidates must have a Bachelor’s Degree in Law (LLB or equivalent full-time degree) from a recognized Indian University/Institute with a minimum of 60% marks.
- Sr. Assistant Engineer (Electrical): Candidates must have a B.E./B.Tech Degree in Electrical or Electrical & Electronics Engineering from a recognized University/Institution with a minimum of 60% marks.
- Sr. Assistant Engineer (Mechanical): Candidates must have a B.E./B.Tech Degree in Mechanical or Production Engineering from a recognized University/Institution with a minimum of 60% marks.
- Sr. Assistant Engineer (C&I): Candidates must have a B.E./B.Tech Degree in Electronics, Control & Instrumentation, or Instrumentation Engineering from a recognized University/Institution with a minimum of 60% marks.
- Sr. Assistant Engineer (IT/ERP): Candidates must have a B.E./B.Tech Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or Electronics & Communication Engineering from a recognized University/Institution with a minimum of 60% marks.

Selection Process- Online Selection Test: This will be the initial stage for shortlisting candidates. The test will likely assess general aptitude, reasoning, quantitative ability, and subject-specific knowledge relevant to the applied post. Candidates need to perform well in this stage to proceed further.
- SKT & EAT (Skill Test & Executive Aptitude Test): For certain positions, a Skill Test (SKT) and/or Executive Aptitude Test (EAT) might be conducted to evaluate practical skills and specific competencies required for the role. Details regarding the nature of these tests will be provided in the official notification or subsequent announcements.
- Merit List: Based on the performance in the Online Selection Test and/or SKT & EAT, a merit list will be prepared. Candidates qualifying in these stages will be called for further rounds.
- Interview: Shortlisted candidates from the merit list will undergo an interview. This stage aims to assess communication skills, personality, problem-solving ability, and overall suitability for the post.
- Document Verification: Candidates selected after the interview stage will be called for document verification. It is crucial to have all original documents ready, including educational certificates, caste certificates (if applicable), age proof, and other relevant testimonials, to avoid disqualification.
- Medical Examination: Finally, candidates will be required to undergo a medical examination as per NTPC’s health standards.
