Age Limits (as on 01 January 2026, as per previous notification):
Minimum Age : 18 Years
Maximum Age : 40 Years
Age relaxation is provided by RSSB for the Librarian Grade-III position as per government regulations.
Educational Qualification (as per previous notification):
Candidates must have passed Senior Secondary (12th grade) from a recognized board.
In addition, candidates should possess a certificate, diploma, or degree in Library Science recognized by the National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE) or an equivalent body.
How to Check RSSB Librarian Gr-III Final Result 2026
Step 2 : On the homepage, navigate to the “Results” or “Latest News / Recruitment” section.
Step 3 : Look for the result notification specifically named “Librarian Grade-III Final Result 2026” or similar.
Step 4 : Click on the relevant result link. This may open a PDF file or lead to a login portal.
Step 5 : If it’s a PDF, search for your Roll Number to ascertain your result status.
Step 6 : If a login is required, enter your Roll Number / Application Number, Date of Birth / Password, and the Captcha Code as prompted.
Step 7 : After successful login, your RSSB Librarian Gr-III Final Result will be displayed on the screen.
Step 8 : Click on Download or Print to save a copy of your result for future reference and document verification processes.
RSSB Librarian Grade-III Selection Process
Written Examination: Candidates first appeared for a competitive written examination designed to assess their knowledge relevant to the Librarian Grade-III role.
Document Verification: Candidates who qualify the written examination are shortlisted and called for Document Verification (DV). During DV, all original educational certificates, age proof, caste certificates (if applicable), and other relevant documents are thoroughly checked for authenticity and adherence to eligibility criteria.
Final Merit List: A final merit list is prepared based on the candidate’s performance in the written examination, subject to successful document verification. This merit list determines the final selection for the Librarian Grade-III position.
