Age Limit & Eligibility Criteria

• Age Limit (as on 01 January 2027):
• Minimum Age : 21 Years
• Maximum Age : 40 Years
• RPSC provides age relaxation for the Assistant Prosecution Officer (APO) position as per their regulations and government rules.
• Eligibility Criteria for Assistant Prosecution Officer (APO):
• Candidates must possess a Bachelor Degree in Law (LLB) from a University established by Law in India.
• Working knowledge of Hindi written in Devnagari Script is mandatory.
• Knowledge of Rajasthani culture is also required.
• All candidates are strongly advised to thoroughly read the official notification completely before applying to confirm all specific requirements and ensure eligibility.

Selection Process

• Written Examination: The first stage involves a written examination designed to assess the candidates’ knowledge in relevant legal subjects and general awareness. Candidates must qualify this stage to proceed further.
• Personality Test: Shortlisted candidates from the written exam will undergo a personality test. This evaluates their communication skills, legal aptitude, problem-solving abilities, and overall suitability for the role of an Assistant Prosecution Officer.
• Interview: A comprehensive interview will be conducted to further gauge the candidates’ subject knowledge, communication prowess, analytical thinking, and personal attributes. This is a crucial stage for final selection.
• Document Verification: Candidates who successfully clear the written examination, personality test, and interview will be called for document verification. It is mandatory to present all original educational certificates, identity proofs, caste certificates (if applicable), and other relevant documents, along with self-attested copies, for thorough verification. Any discrepancies or missing documents may lead to disqualification.
• Final Merit List: A final merit list will be prepared based on the cumulative performance of candidates in the written examination, personality test, and interview. Final appointment will be subject to medical fitness and other conditions stipulated by the RPSC.
