- Train Clerk:

- Accounts Clerk Cum Typist:

Selection Process- Computer Based Test (CBT-1): This is the first stage of the online examination. It is a screening test, and marks obtained here are used for shortlisting candidates for CBT-2. The test typically covers General Awareness, Mathematics, and General Intelligence & Reasoning.
- Computer Based Test (CBT-2): Candidates who qualify CBT-1 will be called for CBT-2. This stage is more detailed and carries higher weightage. It also covers General Awareness, Mathematics, and General Intelligence & Reasoning, but with a higher difficulty level.
- Skill Test / Typing Test / Aptitude Test:
- For posts like Accounts Clerk Cum Typist and Junior Clerk Cum Typist, a Computer Based Typing Skill Test (CBTST) is mandatory. Candidates must achieve the specified typing speed in English or Hindi.
- For certain other posts (not listed under 10+2 UG in source, but generally applicable to NTPC), a Computer Based Aptitude Test (CBAT) might be conducted.
- Document Verification (DV): Candidates shortlisted after all stages of examination and skill tests will be called for document verification. Original certificates related to age, education, caste, PwBD, etc., will be scrutinized.

Exam Pattern & Syllabus (General Overview)- The RRB NTPC examination typically consists of two stages of Computer Based Tests (CBT-1 and CBT-2), followed by a Typing Skill Test/Aptitude Test for relevant posts.
- CBT-1 Exam Pattern:
- Duration: 90 minutes
- Total Questions: 100 (General Awareness: 40, Mathematics: 30, General Intelligence & Reasoning: 30)
- Negative Marking: 1/3rd mark for each incorrect answer.
- Qualifying in nature for shortlisting for CBT-2.
- CBT-2 Exam Pattern:
- Duration: 90 minutes
- Total Questions: 120 (General Awareness: 50, Mathematics: 35, General Intelligence & Reasoning: 35)
- Negative Marking: 1/3rd mark for each incorrect answer.
- Marks obtained in CBT-2 are used for shortlisting for subsequent stages.

Preparation Tips for RRB NTPC 10+2 UG Exam- Understand the Syllabus and Exam Pattern: Thoroughly review the detailed syllabus and exam pattern for both CBT-1 and CBT-2 to know what to study and how the exam will be structured.
- Create a Study Plan: Develop a realistic and structured study plan, allocating sufficient time for each subject based on its weightage and your strengths/weaknesses.
