Selection Process
Stage 1: Preliminary Written Examination – This is the initial screening test.
Stage 2: Main Written Examination – Candidates who qualify Prelims will appear for Mains, which typically covers core subjects and general knowledge.
Stage 3: Physical Proficiency Test (PET) & Physical Measurement Test (PMT) – This stage assesses candidates’ physical fitness and measurements as per police standards. It includes events like running, long jump, shot put, and checks height, chest, etc.
Stage 4: Personal Interview – Shortlisted candidates will face an interview to assess their personality, communication skills, and general awareness.
Stage 5: Document Verification (DV) – Verification of all original documents (educational certificates, age proof, caste certificates, etc.).
Stage 6: Medical Examination – A thorough medical examination to ensure candidates meet the prescribed health standards for police service.
