Age Limit & Eligibility Criteria (As on 01 January 2027)- Minimum Age : 21 Years
- Maximum Age : 40 Years
- Age Relaxation: MPPSC provides age relaxation for various reserved categories as per state government rules. Candidates belonging to SC, ST, OBC (Non-Creamy Layer), Persons with Disabilities (PwD), and female candidates may be eligible for relaxation in the upper age limit. Please refer to the official notification for specific details on age relaxation.
- Eligibility Criteria: Candidates must possess a Master’s Degree in the relevant subject with at least 55% marks (or an equivalent grade in a point-scale wherever the grading system is followed) from an Indian University or an equivalent degree from an accredited foreign university.
- Additionally, candidates must have qualified the National Eligibility Test (NET) conducted by the UGC or the CSIR, or a similar test accredited by the UGC like SLET/SET.
- Candidates who have been awarded a Ph.D. Degree in accordance with the University Grants Commission (Minimum Standards and Procedure for Award of M.Phil./Ph.D. Degree) Regulations, 2009 or 2016 and their amendments from time to time, as the case may be, shall be exempted from the requirement of the minimum eligibility condition of NET/SLET/SET.

How to Download Admit Card- Step 1 : The admit card for the MPPSC Assistant Professor Examination 2026 will be available from 02 July 2026. Candidates should visit the official MPPSC website or click on the “Download Admit Card” link provided in the “Important Links” section below.
- Step 2 : Look for the “Admit Card for Assistant Professor Examination 2026” link and click on it.
- Step 3 : You will be redirected to a login page. Enter your Application Number / Registration Number and Date of Birth (DD/MM/YYYY) as required.
- Step 4 : Carefully review all details on the admit card, including your name, photograph, exam center, date, and time.
- Step 5 : Download the admit card and take at least two to three printouts for future reference and for carrying to the examination center.
- Step 6 : Ensure you keep the admit card safe until the entire recruitment process is complete.

Exam Pattern & Syllabus- The MPPSC Assistant Professor Examination typically consists of two papers:
- Paper I: General Knowledge of Madhya Pradesh, India, and the World, and Computer Awareness.
- Paper II: Concerned Subject.
- The examination will be a written test, likely Objective Type (Multiple Choice Questions).

What to Carry to Exam- Printed Admit Card: A clear printout of your MPPSC Assistant Professor Admit Card 2026.
